About the Role
This opportunity is for an HR Manager who will take ownership of core people operations and work closely with leadership to support the company’s expansion. The position covers recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation administration, payroll, and broader HR operations.
The right person will bring a strategic mindset, proven HR leadership experience, and the ability to develop trust across teams while driving engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Run the daily HR function, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits support.
- Work with senior leadership on staffing plans, organizational development efforts, and initiatives that improve employee retention.
- Make sure HR practices follow federal, state, and local employment regulations, company rules, and industry standards.
- Lead performance review activities and assist managers with coaching, feedback, and employee growth plans.
- Administer payroll processes and HR systems with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Create, refine, and roll out HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
- Support initiatives that strengthen engagement and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Keep employee files and HR records accurate, secure, and confidential.
- Review HR data and trends, then suggest improvements to processes and outcomes.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee matters, and workplace concerns.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of increasing responsibility in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation, HR compliance, and current best practices.
- Hands-on exposure to payroll administration and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong capabilities in problem-solving, organization, and sound decision-making.
