IT System Administrator Datacenter (m/f/d)

Role summary

This permanent full-time position is focused on operating and developing the data center and enterprise IT landscape, including server, cloud, storage, backup, and security environments.

Key duties

• Manage and administer IT platforms such as Windows, Linux, VMware, storage, and backup solutions.
• Design, deploy, and support Windows server and client environments as well as cloud services such as M365 Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
• Investigate hardware and software issues, then initiate corrective actions to resolve them.
• Prepare maintenance activities and monitor their execution.
• Carry out system assessments, support investment planning, and contribute to IT projects.
• Review and settle service charges, and develop operating documents, internal guidelines, and work instructions.

Profile

• A completed degree in computer science or business informatics, or an equivalent qualification with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Solid expertise in cloud administration and in building stable, secure cloud architectures.
• Experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud providers.
• Strong knowledge of storage and backup systems, as well as firewall and security technologies.
• A communicative, dependable, and professional manner.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to provide informed technical advice.
