About the Role
ABM Industries is seeking a dependable and skilled Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment across various facilities. This position is crucial for upholding the workplace's appearance and sanitation, ensuring a positive experience for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and uphold hygiene standards
- Dispose of trash and recycling according to company guidelines
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Properly manage and store cleaning equipment and supplies
- Report any maintenance needs, safety concerns, or low supply levels to supervisors
- Assist with setup and cleanup for events and special projects
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and company sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning is advantageous
- Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with cleaning agents, tools, and safety practices
- Keen attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality work
