Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Leasing Assistant position based in Harare. The role supports lease administration and tenant engagement, with day-to-day work focused on organizing lease paperwork, keeping records accurate, handling updates and renewals, and assisting with general leasing coordination. You will also respond to tenant questions, work with internal teams and property management, and help monitor key dates, applications, and leasing reports.
Key Duties
- Prepare, arrange, and maintain lease documents and related files in an orderly manner.
- Support lease administration work such as record updates, data entry, and renewal processing.
- Handle tenant queries professionally and provide reliable customer support.
- Coordinate with internal departments and property management to keep leasing activities running smoothly.
- Monitor important lease deadlines and help track occupancy and leasing performance information.
- Assist with application processing and other administrative tasks linked to leasing operations.
Candidate Profile
- Good understanding of leases and lease administration processes.
- Hands-on experience with lease documents, including preparing, reviewing, and organizing files and agreements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability for managing records, deadlines, and multiple tasks.
- Comfort using office software and performing basic data entry; familiarity with property management or leasing systems is a plus.
- Ability to work from the Harare office, collaborate with a varied team, and manage priorities in a busy environment.
- Previous exposure to real estate, property management, or a leasing support role is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in business, real estate, or a related discipline is an advantage.
