Qualifications

• A current lifeguard licence is required.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard and in water sports is expected.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• You should stay composed and make quick, sound decisions during emergencies.
• Strong swimming ability, good physical endurance, and comfort working outdoors in changing weather and sea conditions are necessary.
• The role involves handling mooring lines, tying knots, securing vessels, and supporting anchoring activities.
• You must be able to communicate clearly and politely when giving safety guidance, correcting unsafe actions, and assisting guests from varied backgrounds.
• Good attention to detail, dependable time management, and the ability to remain vigilant over long observation periods are important.
• A strong safety mindset, awareness of risks, and adherence to company rules and local regulations are essential.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays according to operational demands is required.
• Candidates should live in the Westmoreland or Hanover region.
