Job summary
We are hiring a driven and enthusiastic Online Bidder / Business Development Executive for an onsite role in Mohali. The position suits someone with at least 1 year of experience in online bidding and client acquisition for IT or digital services.
What you will do
- Find suitable projects on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PPH, and similar marketplaces.
- Write and send persuasive proposals and bids to potential clients.
- Speak with clients to understand their needs and turn inquiries into business opportunities.
- Create leads through freelancing platforms and other online sources.
- Work with the technical team to understand project requirements and draft accurate proposals.
- Keep an active pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently.
- Develop lasting client relationships and focus on high client satisfaction.
- Monitor bidding work and maintain records of leads, proposals, and conversions.
Required experience and skills
- At least 1 year of experience in online bidding or business development.
- Practical experience using Upwork and similar freelancing websites.
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
- Working knowledge of IT services, web development, mobile app development, or digital marketing.
- Ability to prepare professional proposals and client-facing messages.
- Solid negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and proactive working style.
