Role Summary

The Operations Associate will be responsible for the full day-to-day running of a ride or attraction, with a strong focus on guest and colleague safety. This role requires sustained concentration, the ability to manage small teams, multitask effectively, and operate large machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Duties

• Carry out all opening and closing checks and procedures for rides and attractions.
• Manage queue flow and ensure guest lines are organized properly.
• Perform height checks accurately and efficiently.
• Keep ride platforms prepared and arranged for operational use.
• Issue, explain, and properly fit any required ride safety wear for guests.
• Support safe and efficient guest loading and unloading.
• Inspect restraints, safety belts, and attraction equipment to confirm guest safety and comfort.
• Check emergency equipment and routes, including fire extinguishers and exit access.
• Maintain clear communication with guests, teammates, and management.
• Use ride stop and emergency stop systems confidently and correctly when needed.
• Help create enjoyable, memorable guest experiences.
• Operate rides and attractions during opening and closing periods for guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and operating procedures.
• Keep accurate daily records for operations, including downtime, throughput, and colleague breaks.
• Ensure daily ride documentation remains current, neat, and correct.
• Respond to ride downtime and emergency situations as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Remain alert during long shifts, including both quiet and busy periods.
• Complete any other duties needed to support business requirements.

Requirements

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Friendly, energetic personality with a genuine interest in guest interaction.
• Comfortable speaking and understanding English.
• Able to work under pressure and across long shift hours.
• High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Preferred: higher secondary education or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred: ability to speak and understand Arabic.
• Preferred: creative and adaptable thinking for solving work-related problems.
• For operator training, the candidate should be able to manage small teams, stay focused for extended periods, operate machinery safely, multitask, and oversee the safety of colleagues and guests at the assigned attraction.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on operational role that involves extended periods of standing and speaking while stationed at the attraction. The successful candidate must be able to maintain focus throughout long shifts in both quiet and high-activity park conditions.
