Operations Manager

This position sits within Amazon’s worldwide operations network, which handles the movement of millions of customer packages each day. Responsibilities

• Coach, support, and keep both salaried and hourly team members engaged and motivated.
• Oversee large-scale initiatives that affect the site and the wider region.
• Develop and roll out productivity plans using forecast reviews, output requirements, and coordination with other leaders to balance workload.
• Own performance across safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer delivery.
• Work closely with partner teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to execute business plans.
• Be prepared for the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 49 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Remain on your feet and move around for as long as 12 hours per shift.
• Work in conditions where noise may range from moderate to loud.
• Operate in environments with changing temperatures and weather exposure, including outdoor loading areas at delivery stations.
• Climb and descend stairs repeatedly at sites where stairs are present.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing employees and performance.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, or 2+ years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methods is preferred.

Compensation includes a base salary plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units. Final pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
