The institute is positioned as a comprehensive healthcare destination committed to advanced treatment and patient care.Role OverviewThis full-time, on-site OT Matron position in Hisar calls for a professional who can keep operating theatre activities running efficiently. The role centers on managing OT operations, upholding hygiene and safety standards, and working closely with doctors and nursing teams to support smooth surgical workflows.Core DutiesSupervise day-to-day operating theatre activity and ensure the OT functions in an organized manner.Coordinate with medical and nursing staff to support smooth scheduling and execution of surgeries.Prepare the operating theatre before procedures and make sure the environment is ready for safe use.Oversee the upkeep, handling, and readiness of surgical instruments and OT equipment.Maintain sufficient stock of OT supplies and monitor inventory levels.Ensure adherence to infection-control measures, hygiene practices, and patient safety guidelines.Support staff coordination and manage OT-related responsibilities under pressure when required.Qualification & ExperienceCandidates should hold GNM, OTT, or B.Sc. Nursing qualifications and bring 5 to 10 years of experience in operation theatre management. Experience in supervising OT staff and coordinating surgical schedules is important, along with a sound understanding of OT procedures, sterilization, and patient safety practices.Skills and CompetenciesThe ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership, organization, strong communication, time management, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure clinical settings.
