Overview
An established Independent Financial Advice firm in Tunbridge Wells is looking to hire an experienced Paraplanner to strengthen its expanding team. The role suits someone who is highly organised, technically confident, and comfortable working closely with Financial Advisers to support the delivery of quality financial planning advice to an established client base.
The position offers a professional, collaborative workplace with scope to develop your career and continue gaining professional qualifications.
Role summary
In this position, you will support advisers by producing accurate, compliant, and well-structured financial planning documentation and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare suitability reports covering pensions, investments, and protection.
- Carry out research and analysis to inform financial planning recommendations.
- Create cashflow modelling outputs where required.
- Work with advisers, administrators, and product providers to progress advice cases.
- Check that all client documentation aligns with FCA compliance requirements.
- Review client portfolios and suggest areas for improvement.
- Join adviser-led client meetings when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Paraplanner in an IFA or wealth management environment.
- Strong technical understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Proven ability to draft suitability reports.
- Level 4 Diploma qualified, or actively working towards it.
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
