Description de l'emploi
Role overview
This role is focused on delivering high-level personal assistant support to assigned directors so they can carry out their responsibilities effectively. The position also sits within the wider personal assistant team, helping maintain a consistent, dependable service for the Chair and all Directors whenever cover or extra support is needed.
Key duties
- Provide end-to-end PA support to designated directors to keep their day-to-day work organised and running smoothly.
- Act as the initial contact for directors’ visitors and telephone enquiries, offering suitable information, advice, and guidance while protecting the professional standing of the directors, executive team, and trust.
- Keep the director fully updated on emerging matters, assess urgency and priority, and gather and organise the information needed to support informed decisions.
- Own diary coordination for directors, making judgement calls on appointments based on the issue, the caller’s needs, and the director’s workload and commitments.
- Produce, format, and edit letters, reports, and presentations from dictation or draft material supplied by the director.
- Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and transcribe minutes for selected trust committees where required.
Inclusion and equal opportunities
The organisation is committed to building a workplace where everyone can thrive and be themselves. It welcomes applications from all parts of the community and makes reasonable adjustments for disabled applicants wherever possible. Candidates with a disability who meet the minimum criteria may choose to be considered under a guaranteed interview approach.
Application support and contact
If you need help with the application process, support is available by phone through the recruitment team. Email will normally be the main way of communicating, though an alternative contact method can be requested if preferred.
For an informal discussion about the post, applicants are encouraged to contact Kerrie Brent, Corporate Governance Manager, on 01183225335 or by email at [email protected] before applying.
