Produce Stocker

Role overview

Walmart Canada is hiring a Produce Stocker to help keep the produce department organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready. This role is a good fit for someone interested in retail or customer service and looking to build practical experience in store operations.

Key duties

• Keep the produce section neat, organized, and properly zoned.
• Check stock levels, rotate merchandise, and remove items that have expired.
• Make sure products are correctly priced and signed.
• Follow cold-chain requirements, including thermometer checks, temperature logs, food handling rules, and date-based rotation practices.
• Carry out sanitation and cleaning tasks in line with food safety standards.
• Complete ordering-related tasks and handle clearance, markups, markdowns, pricing, labels, and signage according to procedure.
• Maintain a full and business-ready department by replenishing stock as needed.
• Follow health and safety requirements at all times.
• Stock merchandise, downstock when required, apply product protection when needed, and complete modulars, flex modulars, and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.30.

Minimum qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
