About the Role

This position calls for a technically strong Product Manager with a computer science foundation, direct software engineering experience, and a history of shipping products for developers. The role owns one of LayerZero’s key API products and shapes how developers and integrators interact with cross-chain value transfer at the protocol level. You will serve as the bridge between engineering, design, and external partners, setting the direction, clarifying problems, and driving delivery from early concept through launch and scale.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full product lifecycle for LayerZero infrastructure and API experiences, including vision, roadmap, requirements, and execution.
• Work closely with engineers to understand technical limits, review code-level approaches, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Keep teams aligned by communicating the product direction, user scenarios, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay close to developers, partners, and integrators to understand their needs and turn both qualitative and quantitative feedback into product direction.
• Work through vague or complex problems by testing assumptions and avoiding rushed solutioning, so the team focuses on the right issues.
• Champion strong design and usability standards, including in highly technical workflows.
• Build influence across functions through credibility, delivery, and sound product judgment rather than formal authority.
• Remove blockers for engineering, maintain momentum, and take responsibility for outcomes end to end.

Requirements

• A computer science degree or a comparable technical background.
• At least 2–5+ years of software engineering experience, with comfort leading technical conversations.
• At least 3–6+ years of product management experience, preferably with API, developer-tool, or infrastructure products.
• Strong familiarity with crypto concepts, including cross-chain value transfer, API security considerations, and developer workflows on blockchain infrastructure.
• A strong ownership mindset and the ability to move work forward without relying on authority or complete information.
• Clear, proactive, and repeated communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, low-process environments and ambiguous situations.
• A strong commitment to product quality, user experience, and execution.
