Production Operator

Role overview

The Production Operator will be responsible for setting up and running a designated machine to produce goods that match the required specifications. The role focuses on efficient machine operation, quality control, and maintaining smooth production flow.

Key duties

• Confirm that all required paperwork and job documents, such as JFT and PCC, are ready before starting a new assignment to help avoid delays and keep output consistent.
• Run the machine according to the defined work instructions so the operation remains safe and stable.
• Identify and resolve operating issues when possible, and escalate for support when needed to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Review the start-up sample and submit it to the production section head for approval before sending it to QC, ensuring the initial run meets quality expectations.
• Escalate any quality issues to QC and the production section head so corrective action can be taken quickly.
• Direct helpers as needed to keep the workflow organized and maintain 5S standards around the machine and work area.

Working interfaces

This position works internally with production and maintenance teams, forklift drivers, and the quality control team. There are no external interfaces mentioned.

Qualifications and competencies

The preferred background is an Industrial Diploma, along with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of both written and spoken Arabic and English is considered an advantage.

Additional information

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The position appears to be a production-floor operator role with responsibility for machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and coordination with quality and support teams.
