Description de l'emploi
Role overview
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Project Manager to support its Integrated Care Operations Service (ICO). This is a chance to contribute to forward-looking integrated care work that improves how services are delivered, strengthens operational performance, and supports evidence-based decision-making across health, social care, and voluntary sector partnerships.
You will work alongside clinical and operational leaders to help develop and improve a range of ICO services, including complex discharge, Inclusion Health, UCLH Hospital@Home, and support for high-intensity users. The post combines project coordination with data support across these services.
The position sits within a collaborative and supportive team focused on service innovation and transformation. It offers exposure to operational delivery, strategic planning, and partnership work while contributing to meaningful improvements across the health and care system.
Service focus
The role supports integrated, person-centred services for people with complex needs across health, social care, and voluntary sector partners. This includes people affected by care needs, homelessness, mental health difficulties, and substance dependency. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen coordinated care pathways and apply inclusion health principles, while representing the service in partnership meetings and maintaining strong links with acute, community, and external organisations.
Operational and leadership responsibilities
In addition to project delivery, the role includes responsibility for coordinating administrative activity, managing workloads, and supporting staff through supervision, guidance, and development. You will help run meetings, improve communication between teams, and contribute to a positive culture based on organisational values.
The postholder will also track operational performance, oversee risks, support service delivery, and ensure concerns are escalated appropriately. Maintaining governance standards and operational resilience is a key part of the role.
