Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong electrical engineering background to oversee transmission substation projects in Doha, Qatar. The position calls for deep technical understanding, solid project coordination ability, and hands-on experience working in electrical power utility environments.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must hold a full-time four-year degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, university, or college acceptable to Kahramaa. This role requires at least 10 years of experience in an Electrical Power Utility or a company as an Electrical Engineer in Transmission Substation work, including a minimum of 5 years in project management.

Candidates should be thoroughly familiar with safety requirements for high-voltage installations and have a strong grasp of international standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring project execution aligns with technical requirements, safety expectations, quality benchmarks, and milestone timelines. The role also includes leading technical and progress-related discussions with management and clients, as well as maintaining smooth day-to-day project administration.

Additional Requirements

Applicants are expected to provide detailed supporting information, not brief summaries, along with relevant documents wherever applicable. This includes educational credentials, examples of experience in technical presentations and project progress meetings, evidence of implementing international safety procedures, rules, regulations, and quality standards, records of preparing and submitting programs, progress reports, and inspection reports, capability to supervise subordinates, and documentation for valid Qatar residence permit status, Qatar ID, photographs, current project details, and notice period from the current project.

Working Hours

The role may require work beyond standard hours when project demands or urgent operational needs arise.
