Role overview
This position is for a project leader who can successfully manage complex enterprise infrastructure engagements for external clients. The role calls for strong technical project management capability, a customer-facing mindset, and the ability to coordinate several parallel workstreams across networking, cloud, security, storage, and broader infrastructure environments.

Key responsibilities
- Direct multiple large infrastructure initiatives from kickoff through completion.
- Prepare detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, dependencies, milestones, and critical path analysis.
- Oversee scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables across concurrent assignments.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers, sponsors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Set up and manage communication routines, including executive-level progress updates.
- Maintain resource planning to support efficient allocation across project portfolios.
- Track financial performance, such as revenue, margin, profitability, utilization, and budget adherence.
- Spot, evaluate, and reduce project risks, issues, and changes in scope before they affect delivery.
- Make sure work follows delivery methods and quality standards.
- Coordinate multi-location infrastructure rollouts covering networking, wireless, cloud, storage, virtualization, and collaboration tools.
- Use project management systems and best practices to improve delivery results.
- Support ongoing process improvements while keeping customer satisfaction and project outcomes strong.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Background in customer-facing project delivery within a Professional Services or Managed Services setting.
- Hands-on experience with projects in networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, security, or unified communications.
- Experience handling multi-site rollouts such as wireless, Wi-Fi, POS, or similar infrastructure deployments.
- Strong understanding of project management methods, frameworks, and the full project lifecycle.
- Ability to create detailed WBS plans, map dependencies, and build critical path schedules.
- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and resource planning.
- Experience managing risks, stakeholder communication, and organizational change.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills for client-facing work.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort using enterprise-grade project management software.
- Ability to juggle several priorities independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred: PMP certification.
- Preferred: experience with Clarity PPM or a similar portfolio management tool.
- Preferred: involvement in digital transformation or infrastructure modernization projects.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
- Preferred: technical exposure to networking, cloud, virtualization, or data center infrastructure.
