Role Overview

ORYX Veterinary Clinic in Doha is seeking an experienced, professional receptionist to support its front desk and day-to-day clinic coordination. The role centers on delivering courteous service to pet owners, keeping administrative work organized, and helping communication flow smoothly between clients and veterinary staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally on arrival.
• Answer calls, respond to WhatsApp messages, and arrange appointments.
• Keep patient files up to date, process payments, and handle routine admin tasks.
• Act as a link between veterinarians and pet owners to relay information clearly.
• Keep the reception area tidy, orderly, and running efficiently.
• Assist with everyday clinic operations and customer service support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working as a receptionist or in a similar administrative position.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Arabic-speaking applicants are preferred.
• Experience in a clinic or veterinary setting will be considered an advantage.
• Candidates must already be based in Qatar; this is a local hiring opportunity only.
• Comfortable working around animals and able to interact kindly with pets.
