Role Overview
Techversant is looking for an experienced Technical Recruitment Lead to own and improve the full hiring lifecycle for a growing software development business. This position is centered on hiring strong technical talent across software engineering and IT leadership roles to support expansion.
What You Will Do
- Recruit for technical positions across IT delivery management and architecture tracks, including software developers, DevOps engineers, QA engineers, architects, tech leads, and data/AI engineers.
- Design and execute hiring approaches that match business goals and workforce plans.
- Work closely with engineering leaders, project managers, and department heads to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Handle the complete recruitment workflow from sourcing and screening to interviews, offer discussions, and onboarding.
- Use platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar tools to find and connect with passive candidates.
- Develop strong talent pipelines through referrals, networking, and developer communities.
- Drive rapid hiring for urgent client needs, specialized skill sets, and critical roles requiring immediate joining.
- Guide and support a team of IT recruiters to meet hiring targets.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and team output in a goal-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with technical teams to set up structured interview and assessment methods.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts aimed at attracting skilled technical professionals.
- Share regular hiring progress updates and reports with senior leadership.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Deep knowledge of software engineering roles, technologies, and technical hiring practices.
- Prior experience recruiting for Python/Django, Java/Spring, JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.js, .NET, DevOps/Cloud, AI/ML, Data Engineering, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Robotics profiles.
- Strong sourcing capability, including Boolean search and talent mapping.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with candidates and professional networks.
- Comfort working against hiring targets and measurable recruitment KPIs.
- Hands-on exposure to ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment tools.
- Leadership ability to coach, supervise, and motivate recruitment teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Certifications in Talent Acquisition or HR Management would be an added advantage. The preferred profile includes 8+ years of dedicated IT technical recruitment experience in technology consulting and services firms, product development companies, or organizations focused on software development, application development, or AI.
