Description de l'emploi

About the role

Water Corporation is seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join its Leederville office and support the organisation’s talent acquisition efforts. Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, this position plays a key part in delivering efficient, timely and cost-conscious recruitment services that help the business secure the right people when needed.

This is a great opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and is motivated by the chance to help build the workforce that supports Western Australia’s water future.

About Water Corporation

Water Corporation is a vital service provider for Western Australia. Every day, millions of people rely on its work to manage and deliver water across the state. The organisation values meaningful contribution and offers a workplace where employees can make a real difference.

What’s on offer

  • Flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home options, a 9-day fortnight and flexible hours
  • Two paid wellbeing days each year
  • Access to pro rata long service leave after 3 years
  • A superannuation arrangement with 12% employer contribution plus an additional 2% employer co-contribution when salary sacrificing 2%
  • The option to buy up to 12 extra weeks of leave, or work four years on reduced salary and take the fifth year as paid leave
  • Up to 5 days of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the recruitment process from end to end while working independently. You will partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, build candidate shortlists, arrange interviews and ensure candidates are aligned with the job brief. You will also develop proactive sourcing approaches to attract diverse talent for current and future vacancies.

In addition, you will help resolve hiring issues, support improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team and contribute to smoother recruitment operations overall.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience recruiting for blue-collar or white-collar positions, preferably across regional locations. You should have a solid understanding of modern recruitment and selection practices, be comfortable sourcing talent through platforms such as LinkedIn and Seek Talent Search, and have confidence using recruitment systems. Experience with SuccessFactors would be an advantage.

You will need strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. A Certificate or Diploma in HR or Psychology would be considered highly desirable.

Application and screening

Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume that clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills and suitability for the position. By applying, candidates agree that current and former line managers may be contacted as referees. Internal applicants are strongly encouraged to inform their manager before applying for acting or permanent opportunities.

As part of the hiring process, applicants may be asked to complete pre-employment checks, which can include a medical assessment, qualification verification, police clearance and confirmation of Australian working rights.

Diversity and inclusion

Water Corporation is committed to building an inclusive workplace that reflects the diversity of its customers and communities. Applications are encouraged from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, women, young people, LGBTQIA+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

The organisation also aims to ensure a workplace that is accessible and supportive for people with disability. Candidates who need adjustments during the recruitment process, including an alternative application format, can contact a Recruitment Officer at [email protected] or 08 9420 2000.

Applications close on Friday 10th July.
