This opening is for a Retail Sales Associate at the Outlets Of Bluegrass store in Simpsonville, Kentucky.

What the role involves

The selected associate will support an engaging in-store shopping experience while also helping with operational tasks such as replenishing stock, keeping the area clean, and folding merchandise.

• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, checkout area, and stock room neat, organized, safe, and welcoming.
• Work in line with company rules and operating procedures to protect customers and associates.
• Support product launch and floor changes according to standard operating procedures.
• Deliver a consistently positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Complete transactions efficiently and accurately to reduce customer waiting time.
• Handle customer concerns professionally, decide on an appropriate resolution when possible, and escalate issues to store management when needed.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs by clearly explaining their benefits and encouraging participation.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Experience and qualifications

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and roughly 6 months to 2 years of related work experience. Comfort using technology such as iPads and registers is required. The role also expects availability during nights, weekends, and other non-standard hours, along with the ability to meet physical job demands.

Skills and attributes

The ideal candidate brings prior retail exposure, strong customer-facing skills, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to work effectively with team members and store leadership.
