SAP BPC Consultant

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced SAP BPC Consultant to handle financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting activities. The role calls for hands-on involvement in SAP BPC implementation, support, and enhancement work, along with exposure to SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Analytics-related integrations.

Work Location

This position is based in Hyderabad, India, and the role may also be available across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Noida, or other locations in India.

Experience

Candidates should have 4 to 10 years of relevant SAP BPC experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP BPC solutions for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.
• Set up and tailor SAP BPC environments, including business rules, logic scripts, and process chains.
• Develop input schedules, reports, dashboards, and business process flows.
• Maintain script logic, business rules, data manager packages, and BADI-based enhancements.
• Connect SAP BPC with SAP BW, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Handle data extraction, loading, transformation, validation, and reconciliation tasks.
• Partner with finance teams to understand business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and improve application efficiency.
• Support user acceptance testing, deployments, production support, and end-user training.
• Prepare clear technical and functional documentation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of SAP BPC, including Standard and/or Embedded versions.
• Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.
• Ability to work with script logic, business rules, data manager packages, and business process flows.
• Understanding of SAP BW, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of EPM Add-in, BEx queries, and process chains.
• Capability in data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience delivering end-to-end SAP BPC implementations and production support.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• SAP Group Reporting.
• ABAP debugging.
• HANA modeling.
• SQL.
• SAP FICO knowledge.
• IFRS/GAAP reporting.
• Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline is required. Experience with Agile delivery is preferred. Professional certification in SAP BPC is desirable, and certification in SAP BW or SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.

Employment Type

This is a full-time position.

Compensation

The offered pay is INR 4,00,000 to INR 6,50,000 per year.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate should have completed at least one full SAP BPC implementation project and be comfortable working with finance stakeholders. The role also involves supporting testing, deployment, live-system issues, and training activities.
