Role overview
We are looking for alert and reliable Security Guards to support warehouse security operations in Guelph, Ontario. In this role, you will help protect the site, the people working there, and company property while contributing to efficient logistics operations.
Work location and shift schedule
This position is based in Guelph, ON. Shifts are available across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Monday to Friday, morning shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Monday to Friday, afternoon shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Monday to Friday, overnight shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, morning shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, evening/overnight shift: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
Compensation
The pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities
- Keep watch over the warehouse and carry out patrols to reduce theft and support site safety.
- Use CCTV and other security tools to observe activity and maintain oversight.
- Apply loss-prevention procedures to safeguard company property.
- Act quickly and appropriately during security events or emergencies.
- Record incidents and maintain accurate security documentation and logs.
- Work with police or other law enforcement agencies when needed.
- Follow safety rules, operational procedures, and company policies at all times.
Required qualifications
- Background in security or law enforcement is required.
- A valid security license is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is important.
- You should be highly observant and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- You must be physically fit and able to cover large areas on foot.
- Knowledge of loss-prevention methods will be an advantage.
- Security certification or licensing must meet local regulatory requirements.
