Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Performance Testing Engineer for an onsite contract role in Abu Dhabi. The position calls for 6+ years of relevant experience with a strong emphasis on performance, load, stress, and endurance testing for enterprise applications.

Core Responsibilities
This role focuses on building and running advanced performance testing activities, improving automation maturity, and supporting continuous quality initiatives across teams.
- Design, implement, and maintain performance testing frameworks and test suites for large-scale applications.
- Execute and analyze load, stress, endurance, and mobile performance tests.
- Work with web applications, SOAP services, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and test management tools.
- Use tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter Mobile, LoadRunner Mobile, BlazeMeter Mobile, and Postman for performance validation.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD/CT workflows so automated tests run as part of the delivery pipeline.
- Improve testing processes, raise coverage, and increase automation maturity across teams.
- Create and keep current documentation for frameworks, standards, execution steps, and best practices.
- Share lessons learned and guidance to strengthen quality automation practices.
- Support additional tasks as needed beyond the primary scope of the role.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on expertise in software testing, automation, and modern DevOps-aligned testing practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a closely related field.
- At least 6 years of practical experience in software testing, especially performance-focused work.
- Solid experience with NeoLoad; TOSCA automation knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISTQB, Cypress, Appium, and Xray certification standards or tools is preferred.
- Experience with mobile performance testing tools and techniques.
- Ability to automate mobile performance test cases using device farm integrations such as Perfecto, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with databases and monitoring tools like JIRA, AppDynamics, and Datadog.
- Exposure to CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments and with CI/CD/CT pipeline integration.
