Role overview
This position sits within a clean water operation focused on protecting drinking water quality, reliability, and service performance across the region. The wider organisation works on infrastructure maintenance and renewal, helping clients safeguard water supply, improve environmental performance, and prepare assets for the future. The team has extensive combined experience in engineering and infrastructure and works in a supportive, safety-led environment.
What you will do
- Support work crews with SLG and fittings so sites are arranged safely and run efficiently.
- Keep yards clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Assist the storeman with general yard tasks to ensure materials and equipment are handled properly.
- Join dig gangs when needed and provide practical on-site support.
- Jet wash equipment or work areas as required to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Carry out snagging work so completed jobs meet the required quality level.
What you need to bring
You should be able to tow machinery using a full clean driving licence. The role also requires a valid Streetworks ticket, current Water Hygiene certification, and SHEA Water accreditation.
