Role Summary
The overnight valet driver is responsible for safe vehicle handling, helpful customer service, and maintaining a professional presence throughout each shift. This position may be a strong starting point for someone looking to build a career with a diverse and forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a visual inspection of each vehicle before parking and document anything notable.
- Communicate valet pricing clearly to customers.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions.
- Follow all traffic rules and practice safe driving at all times.
- Escalate accidents, safety concerns, unusual events, and policy breaches to management.
- Be familiar with local roads, landmarks, and highways so directions can be provided when needed.
- Arrive in a clean uniform for every scheduled shift, on time and prepared to work.
- Remain in full uniform for the entire shift.
- Support managers with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid state driver’s license, a current address, and an acceptable driving record.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is considered an advantage.
- Availability for special schedules, including second shift, third shift, and weekends, may be required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation if hired.
- Ability to give accurate information and handle customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Ability to read and write, perform basic arithmetic with U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions and stay composed when plans change, delays occur, or unexpected situations arise.
