About the role

Verda Studios is a London-based YouTube studio working across several channels that have collectively generated more than 10,000,000 views. Its portfolio includes Detective Williams, Pexto, and Glass, with content spanning true crime, creator commentary, and animation.

The studio is looking for a creator-minded YouTube specialist who naturally thinks in ideas, titles, and thumbnails. This role is best suited to someone already building content on their own platform and who wants to turn that instinct into a full-time creative career while learning how high-performing channels are built.

No CV is required. The main focus is on proof of creativity, strong taste, and the ability to make something compelling. The team will provide training on the rest.

What you will do

• Develop new content ideas that the team can realistically produce
• Identify emerging niches and formats before they become widely adopted
• Draft thumbnail ideas for the design team to turn into visuals
• Write attention-grabbing titles that people want to click
• Review performance data to find opportunities for improvement
• Adapt quickly when an approach is not working and refine the strategy
• Communicate effectively with different members of the team

Who we are looking for

• Someone actively creating content already, whether on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, or another platform
• A highly motivated person with strong drive and energy
• A candidate who takes feedback well and has a positive mindset
• Dependable and consistent in execution
• Comfortable testing, learning, and adjusting quickly after failures
• Very attentive to detail while still able to work toward a big-picture creative vision

Work setup

The position starts on a freelance basis, and working hours are entirely self-managed. The role is based in the London office, so it is an in-person position rather than remote.

Pay begins at approximately $1,500 per month, with a defined route to a full-time base salary of up to $3,000 per month. A performance bonus is available once you are fully integrated with a team.

You will work with experienced creators on content that reaches more than 100,000,000 people, and there is an opportunity to grow into a Creative Director path.

In addition, candidates must submit a recorded introduction of at least one minute explaining how they got started in content creation or the wider creator space, including whether their background is in editing, producing, designing, or another related area.
