Role Overview
قرية QARYAH is hiring an Accounting Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is focused on running day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring that financial reports are prepared accurately and on time, and keeping the company aligned with applicable local regulations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise the accounting team in daily operations.
- Examine and approve journal entries to keep records accurate.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accounts remain up to date.
- Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Track fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Carry out variance and profitability analysis to support management decisions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting workflows and systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong capability in preparing and reviewing financial statements and handling core finance functions.
- Hands-on experience with journal entry recording and review, along with general ledger maintenance.
- Proven experience managing fixed assets, including depreciation and asset reconciliation.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate financial information and perform variance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or similar certification is considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, taxation, and compliance obligations.
- Experience using accounting systems, including SAP ERP.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills, with high attention to detail and integrity.
- Ability to manage several priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
