Overview
EY is hiring an AI Engineer Manager to lead the design and delivery of agentic AI solutions built on Microsoft technologies. The position combines hands-on engineering with people leadership, with a focus on scalable automation and enterprise-ready implementation.
About the Team
This role sits within EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), a worldwide delivery network that supports the firm’s growth agenda and client service operations. The GDS organization spans multiple countries and contributes to consulting, assurance, tax, strategy, transactions, and enablement services across global teams.
EY’s innovation specialists support client service and enablement functions through analytics, digital, UX, mobile, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and open innovation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle for AI solution design and implementation using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and agent-based frameworks.
- Build and supervise intelligent agents using Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel in Python or C#.
- Define solution architecture that supports scale, performance, and enterprise-grade standards.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and convert requirements into workable technical designs.
- Coach team members and help ensure successful delivery across AI programs.
- Make decisions on delivery approach, process improvement, resource planning, and team execution.
- Assign work, coordinate team support, and monitor performance to help achieve organizational goals.
Requirements
- Strong practical experience with Copilot Studio and AI agent development.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel using Python or C#.
- Hands-on exposure to Azure AI Foundry and related AI/ML services.
- Good understanding of agent-based design, orchestration, and integration approaches.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and set implementation standards for teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and workflows.
- Capability to convert business needs into reusable, scalable AI architecture.
- Focus on performance, reliability, security, and governance alignment.
- Comfort working in distributed onshore-offshore delivery setups.
- Total experience of 8+ years.
- At least 1+ year of relevant experience in AI or agent-based solutions.
- Prior client-facing consulting or enterprise delivery exposure is preferred.
- Degree in BE, B.Tech, MCA, MBA, or an equivalent qualification with relevant industry experience.
- Microsoft AI certification is preferred.
Preferred Additions
- Experience with Power Platform.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Background in large transformation or digital modernization programs.
- Familiarity with testing tools, deployment cycles, and release management.
- Exposure to multiple industries or complex business environments.
