Role overview

PSA Singapore is hiring an Assistant Operations Executive for port and container terminal operations in Singapore. This role sits within a large-scale, round-the-clock environment where thousands of containers are managed daily across multiple terminals.

What you will do

In this role, you will undergo a one-year traineeship to build a strong foundation in vessel operations and resource planning. The work involves overseeing quay-side activities, coordinating container yard operations, and using the Terminal Operations System to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will also take on people leadership responsibilities by guiding and motivating a team of equipment specialists, ensuring operational plans are carried out effectively and service standards are consistently met in a fast-moving setting.

Additional information

Successful applicants are eligible for a joining bonus of $3,000, subject to terms and conditions. The role is based in a highly dynamic operational environment where safety, efficiency, teamwork, and adaptability are essential.

Requirements

Candidates should hold either a local polytechnic diploma or GCE A Levels with 2 H1 and 2 H2 credits. Applicants must also be prepared to work shift duties.
