Role Overview
City Centre Rotana Doha is looking for a driven, guest-oriented revenue professional who can help deliver outstanding customer service and practical solutions for guests. This role supports smooth reservation handling and contributes to a professional image when dealing with clients on all booking-related matters.
This position is located in Doha, Qatar, at City Centre Rotana Doha.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep reservation administration processes aligned with the hotel’s and company’s required standards.
- Build and maintain a close working relationship with group leaders throughout the group booking process, and coordinate all final arrangements with them.
- Stay fully informed about current room rates and promotional offers, and actively look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
- Apply the hotel’s credit policy correctly when handling group reservations.
- Support the hotel’s sales efforts and help identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Understand guest requirements in advance and make sure billing and credit instructions are clearly recorded and backed up.
- Confirm all reservations and related requests within 24 hours.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in hospitality and have prior experience working in a hotel reservations department. Strong written and spoken English is required, along with solid interpersonal and negotiation abilities. Computer skills are necessary, and hands-on experience with Opera is strongly preferred.
