Data Analyst – Banking & Financial Services

Role Overview

Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst focused on banking and financial services. The position centers on turning raw financial and operational data into clear insights that guide decision-making, improve efficiency, and support reporting requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, check, and evaluate datasets related to banking and finance.
• Create dashboards and reports to track financial and operational results.
• Spot patterns, risks, and business opportunities through data analysis.
• Work closely with teams across business, finance, compliance, and technology.
• Maintain strong data quality, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards.
• Summarize findings and communicate them to stakeholders in a clear manner.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 3 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within banking, financial services, or a similar sector.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms is expected.
• Background in financial data analysis, reporting, and business analytics is important.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities are needed.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence software.
• Understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and risk assessment.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for analysis and automation is helpful.
• Experience handling large-scale financial datasets and SQL-based systems.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.
