Data Analyst (Entry/Junior)

Role overview

This part-time, entry-level Data Analyst position is based in Abu Dhabi and follows a hybrid setup, with a mix of on-site presence and the flexibility to work from home. The role is centered on helping the team make sense of sales, inventory, product, and customer data so that decisions can be backed by accurate analysis.

What you will do

• Gather, tidy, and organize data connected to sales, stock, product performance, and customer behavior.
• Create recurring reports and dashboards that make performance easy to track.
• Spot movements and patterns in sales and inventory levels.
• Assist with demand forecasting for imported fashion products.
• Support the creation and upkeep of simple data models.
• Check datasets for accuracy and consistency before they are used in reporting.
• Record the methods used and summarize the findings clearly.
• Work with operations, merchandising, and management teams to answer data questions and turn findings into practical recommendations.

Qualifications and skills

• Good analytical ability and the foundational skills needed to work with data and draw insights.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of statistics for descriptive analysis, metric calculation, and simple forecasting support.
• Capability to build and structure simple data models for reporting purposes.
• Strong communication skills to explain findings, write concise reports, and coordinate with different teams.
• Comfort using spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets, plus at least one reporting or visualization tool like Power BI, Tableau, or a similar platform.
• High attention to detail, solid organization, and the ability to handle several tasks in a hybrid work setting.
• A completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Interest in fashion and retail, along with a willingness to learn about import, logistics, and merchandising data.
