About the role
HCLTech is seeking a Digital Workplace Engineer to help run and improve modern workplace platforms and systems used by teams across the world. This role is based in Wellington and involves hands-on support for digital workplace technologies in a global environment.
What you will do
- Handle incidents, changes, and Agile delivery tasks as part of day-to-day operations and projects.
- Provide advanced support for desktop and server operating systems, including deployment, Group Policy, Intune, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Support virtual desktop infrastructure solutions such as Citrix VDI, PVS, and ADC.
- Administer Azure Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
- Package, deploy, and update applications using SCCM and Intune.
- Work closely with infrastructure, support, and security teams to keep workplace systems running smoothly.
What the company is looking for
- Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft desktop environments.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Cloud PC or virtual desktop environments.
- Experience managing Group Policy and Intune.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and clear communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Citrix VDI.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure administration.
- Experience with SCCM and Intune administration.
- Knowledge of certificate management.
- Previous involvement in Agile projects.
