Role overview

This contract role is for an Excel specialist who can assess, improve, and document complex spreadsheets used in business operations and strategy. The work is fully remote and is expected to involve 10 to 40 hours each week. Compensation is set at $40 to $55 per hour.

What you will do

• Examine intricate Excel workbooks and strengthen them for operational and strategic use.
• Share practical feedback, along with examples, that demonstrate strong spreadsheet practices for business scenarios.
• Create, document, and distribute templates or solutions that can support AI training and learning needs.
• Work with internal teams to uncover important workflows and pain points in Excel-based processes.
• Test and model real-world business situations using advanced Excel capabilities.

What we are looking for

• Advanced command of Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated functions and automation features.
• Background in building Excel-based solutions for business operations or consulting work.
• Strong analytical ability to address complex, non-financial business challenges through spreadsheets.
• Clear written and spoken communication, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, scenario planning, and workflow improvement in Excel.
