Role overview

This position supports the Chief People Officer as a dependable partner, helping them work efficiently and create impact at pace. As the CPO is part of the Executive Leadership Team, the role requires confident support in a fast-moving, senior-level environment.

Based within the People function, the role also provides administrative and coordination assistance to the wider HR leadership group. You will work closely with other Executive Assistants and senior colleagues across the business to keep communication aligned, coordination smooth, and executive activity well organised.

The job combines day-to-day executive support with contribution to important People initiatives. Typical work includes handling demanding calendars, building polished presentations and documents, organising leadership meetings, and helping plan and deliver internal events.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide proactive daily support to the Chief People Officer by managing priorities and helping them use their time effectively.
  • Arrange complicated schedules across multiple time zones, including meetings, travel, and key People and Executive Leadership gatherings.
  • Partner with Executive Assistants across the Executive Leadership Team to align priorities, meetings, and communications.
  • Offer administrative support to the wider HR leadership team when needed, including diary coordination and meeting arrangements.
  • Create professional presentations, reports, and briefing documents for executive and board-level discussions.
  • Coordinate board and management packs with attention to accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with the organisation and execution of internal events, offsite sessions, and leadership meetings.
  • Act as a central coordination point within HR by tracking progress, monitoring deadlines, and following up on action items.
  • Keep leadership informed by monitoring project status and preparing clear progress reports.
  • Work with internal teams and outside partners on operational tasks, including supplier coordination and payment-related processes.
  • Serve as a contact point for senior stakeholders, both inside and outside the organisation.
  • Spot potential issues, delays, or bottlenecks early and work with others to resolve them.

What we are looking for

  • Proven success as an Executive Assistant in a global organisation.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to different challenges.
  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality when handling materials; experience with sensitive HR matters is an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
