Aramark Canada is hiring a General Utility Worker in Vancouver, British Columbia. Key duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, silverware, glassware, utensils, and related kitchen equipment to help ensure a positive guest experience.
• Keep the dishwashing area, three-compartment sink, and surrounding spaces clean and organized.
• Check that equipment remains clean and functional, and inform management when repairs or issues are needed.
• Handle light upkeep and custodial support tasks as assigned.
• Provide courteous service and maintain a professional, positive approach with guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Follow company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Protect company property and assets.

As business needs change, duties may be adjusted or additional tasks may be assigned without advance notice.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including working around hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
• Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended standing, and walking.
• Willingness to wear a uniform and use personal protective equipment when required.
