About the role
Join the team at the historic Port Gaverne Hotel, set in a quiet cove close to Port Isaac on the North Cornwall coast. The venue combines a characterful old bar with slate floors and wooden beams, a selection of ales, and seasonal dishes made from local produce.
The hotel has 15 en-suite bedrooms, each decorated individually. Please note that the rooms are spread across two floors in an older building with no lift. Access is via a narrow, steep staircase with low ceilings, which is part of the property’s original character.
Located beside the North Cornwall Heritage Coast, the hotel is only a short walk from the beach.
What you will do
You will help create a welcoming stay for guests while ensuring the rooms are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. This role suits someone who enjoys looking after people and taking pride in a tidy, well-kept environment. Prior experience is helpful but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
