Role Overview
This remote, full-time position is for an Interior Design Project Manager who will guide projects from early concept stages all the way to final handover. The role brings together design coordination, project leadership, vendor management, and documentation oversight. You will help shape space plans, develop bespoke furniture concepts, review drawings and project documents, and ensure that delivery stays aligned with design intent, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
What You’ll Handle
In this role, you will work with designers, suppliers, contractors, clients, and internal teams to keep multiple projects moving smoothly. A major part of the job involves tracking progress, anticipating issues, communicating updates, and making sure solutions are implemented without compromising quality. You will also support the planning and selection of furniture and materials for customized interior work.
Qualifications and Capabilities
- Solid knowledge of interior design and space planning, with the ability to create practical and visually appealing layouts for different kinds of spaces.
- Hands-on project management experience, including planning schedules, managing budgets, coordinating stakeholders, and handling project risks.
- Ability to produce, interpret, and review construction drawings and related project documentation with accuracy.
- Understanding of furniture design and selection, especially when working with custom pieces and material requirements.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or another relevant discipline is preferred.
- Comfort using design and planning tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work setup.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong problem-solving ability, and experience managing several projects at the same time.
