Role overview
Elevait Solutions is seeking an IT Project Coordinator in the United States to support multiple technology initiatives. This role focuses on project coordination, financial tracking, quality and testing support, and communication across technical, business, vendor, and leadership groups.
What you will handle
- Assist IT Project Managers with everyday coordination across several active workstreams.
- Maintain the financial tracker by updating forecasts, spend information, and system records.
- Watch for cross-project dependencies and surface risks early.
- Keep the document repository organized and ensure project materials meet quality expectations.
- Help run quality review sessions and testing discovery discussions.
- Support creation of test plans and test approaches, including defining success measures for each testing round.
- Track defects and work with the relevant teams to move issues toward closure.
- Provide status updates on quality and testing throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendor partners, functional teams, and IT leaders.
- Contribute to work plan development and prepare materials for presentations and project updates.
What the role calls for
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a similar technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience on IT project teams in a coordination or support capacity.
- Strong financial awareness, with prior hands-on work involving budgets, forecasts, or spend tracking.
- Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills for audiences at all levels.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and keep work moving without close supervision.
- Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred experience
- PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience using Planview for resource and financial management.
- Exposure to Micro Focus Quality Center or a comparable quality management platform.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Confluence, Planview AgilePlace, or other Agile/Scrum tools.
- Exposure to automated testing tools and testing workflows.
