Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help keep linens and personal clothing clean, organized, and readily available in a long-term care setting. This position supports a clean, comfortable environment for residents and contributes to a team focused on service quality and community impact.

Responsibilities

Gather, separate, wash, dry, fold, and hand out linens and residents’ clothing.
Use laundry machines and related equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Track laundry-related activities and report equipment problems or safety concerns to a supervisor.
Follow infection-prevention practices and universal precautions to maintain a hygienic setting.
Communicate politely with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior laundry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Must maintain a professional, positive approach and communicate well with facility occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and products.
Must be able to follow spoken and written directions and complete repetitive routine tasks every day.
Residency within the service area is required.
