Role overview

A leading FMCG company is hiring a Logistics Manager to run logistics activities across its distribution setup. This position calls for a seasoned professional who can coordinate warehousing, transportation, stock movement, and third-party logistics while keeping operations efficient and service dependable.

What you will do

In this role, you will oversee logistics execution across storage, distribution, transport, and external service providers. You will work closely with manufacturing, commercial, finance, and quality teams so that products move on time, inventory remains accurate, and business targets are met.

• Direct warehousing, distribution, and transportation operations across several sites.
• Control inventory transfers carefully and maintain healthy stock levels along with proper warehouse housekeeping and discipline.
• Manage third-party logistics vendors and contract partners against the agreed service and performance commitments.
• Track logistics KPIs, spot operational shortcomings, and introduce lasting improvements.
• Contribute to cost-saving efforts without compromising service quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure logistics supports overall business needs.
• Lead operational review meetings, monitor performance indicators, and help strengthen the logistics function.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relevant field and bring at least 7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution within the FMCG industry. Hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, transportation management, and third-party logistics is essential. A solid grasp of inventory control, warehouse processes, and distribution flow is needed, along with experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Strong reporting ability, analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also required.
