What you'll do

  • Handle guest repair requests promptly and work with guests or customers to solve maintenance concerns.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Inspect tools, machines, and equipment visually and confirm they are in proper working condition.
  • Carry and use maintenance equipment such as tools and a radio.
  • Find, identify, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs throughout the building.
  • Track maintenance stock and request parts and supplies when needed.
  • Share daily work updates and any issues with other shifts using approved communication channels and standards.

  • Program TVs and handle general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory tasks.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before beginning any maintenance task.
  • Repair interior and exterior landscaping elements, including sprinkler systems.
  • Use basic computer functions such as entering air handler schedules and adjusting temperatures.
