About the role
BOQ Group is looking for a People Services Analyst to join its People Shared Services team in Brisbane. This is an opportunity for someone who is early in their HR journey and eager to build a career in people operations.
The role places you at the front line of employee and leader support, where you will respond to HR queries and help guide people through everyday processes. Your work may include handling requests in Workday, explaining policies, and supporting routine HR service needs.
Along the way, you will strengthen your experience in case handling, issue resolution, and employment legislation, while learning from experienced HR professionals who will help develop your capability. You will also gain insight into how HR services operate within a large organisation and contribute to improvements by identifying patterns, suggesting process enhancements, and supporting small initiatives, including automation-related work.
This position suits someone who enjoys solving problems, assisting others, and working in a busy, collaborative environment. It is designed as a strong entry point into a long-term career in HR.
About you
You may be a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of an HR career. What matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in building practical experience.
You approach unfamiliar questions methodically, ask thoughtful questions, and work through situations in a structured way. You stay organised, can juggle multiple priorities, and care about accuracy and detail.
You are also a confident communicator who enjoys helping people, earns trust quickly, and remains composed when things get busy.
Experience with HR platforms such as Workday or with Microsoft Office is useful but not essential, as support and training will be provided. An openness to learning new tools, including emerging technology, is also important.

How to apply
Applications are invited through the employer's application process.

The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, gender identities and expressions, sexualities, cultures, body types, and abilities. Candidates may share their pronouns and request reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
Successful applicants will need to complete background screening to meet obligations under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements. Checks may include identity verification, reference checks, criminal background checks, immigration checks, verification of academic qualifications, and bankruptcy checks.
No agency applications will be accepted.
