Role Overview

Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia is hiring a Pharmacy Courier in Statesboro, Georgia. This position supports a fast-growing long-term care pharmacy organization that focuses on medication management solutions for healthcare providers serving seniors and people with complex care requirements. Work Schedule

The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 3:00pm to 3:00am.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.

What You Will Do

• Plan and follow the most efficient route for each assigned delivery run.
• Verify totes for the assigned facilities before leaving to make sure orders are complete.
• Deliver the correct totes to facilities on time and within the required window.
• Swap emergency kits and IV boxes at facilities when needed.
• Collect returned items and refused medications while following all safety procedures.
• Finish all paperwork and filing tasks accurately at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with all clients.
• Support teammates when special situations arise and remain flexible as needed.
• Track vehicle condition and inform a supervisor when maintenance or repairs are required; also take vehicles for service as assigned.
• Complete delivery work within the scheduled shift while following traffic laws.
• Follow patient privacy instructions exactly and protect confidential information.
• Carry out any other related duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and should have 2 or more years of relevant experience, though an advanced degree may replace the experience requirement. The role calls for strong computer skills, with pharmacy operations system experience preferred. Candidates should be able to work on their own, meet deadlines, solve problems with limited guidance, and stay accurate in a busy, team-based setting. A careful eye for detail, a quality-focused mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once are important. You must also be able to use GPS and hands-free cell phones, and read and follow directions and maps in English.

Education and Licensing

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid state driver’s license.

Work Environment

This position involves ground travel and may require flexible working hours.
