Role overview
Downer is looking for an experienced Planner to join its Energy & Utilities division in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. In this position, you will take responsibility for workforce planning across several work groups and help support essential operational delivery for a client partnership. The role sits within a collaborative team and involves planning and scheduling for a workforce of around 45 to 50 people spread across 4 to 5 work groups. It also offers the opportunity to contribute to an established contract, with responsibilities that have recently moved back into the business.

What you should bring
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-moving operational setting. You should have at least 2 years of experience using SAP in a planning role, along with practical exposure to workforce planning within an SAP environment. A solid grasp of work management systems and planning tools is important, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities while producing accurate schedules. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are needed, especially when working with both internal teams and clients. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.
