Role overview

The organization is seeking a resourceful, practical Product Associate/Manager to join its regional Product & Technology team in Singapore. This position sits at the intersection of product, editorial content, and AI, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys both the creative side of content and the technical possibilities of technology. The role will focus on improving newsletter operations and exploring new ways to use AI, agentic automation, and related tools to accelerate and strengthen content production across other channels.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales, editorial, and content stakeholders across multiple markets to identify product needs and define requirements.
• Convert business and stakeholder input into clear product and technical briefs for engineering teams, and work closely with developers to make sure solutions support business objectives.
• Validate upcoming features, spot defects before launch, and contribute to sprint grooming so that development priorities and scope are well defined.
• Use analytics, audience engagement data, and previous results to guide product choices.
• Oversee newsletter production across several regions with editorial and engineering partners, improving the product structure and workflows to maintain quality and on-time delivery.
• Assist in planning and executing content distribution on social platforms, tailoring messaging and formats to suit each channel and audience.
• Contribute to the design and development of a highly automated AI-driven news vertical.
• Draft, test, and refine prompts to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of AI-generated content.
• Keep up with AI tools, platforms, and industry shifts, and actively recommend opportunities to incorporate AI into current workflows and systems.

Candidate profile

This position is aimed at candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in digital media, publishing, or a technology environment. The ideal person has strong writing skills, can adjust tone and structure for different formats and audiences, and has practical experience using AI tools beyond basic chat interfaces to build websites, tools, or multimedia content. Familiarity with prompt engineering, agentic workflow tools, or AI coding assistants is expected, even if learned informally. A solid understanding of major social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, along with their content formats and performance metrics, is important. Experience creating video, visual, or social content is a plus, as are skills in product development, technical design, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. The role suits someone comfortable in agile environments, with working knowledge of SEO, AEO, GEO, and Google Analytics considered beneficial. Strong communication, expectation management, self-direction, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity are also important.
