Role details

What you will do

• Build and support sophisticated Python applications that are ready for production use.
• Create clean, modular, and testable systems using current Python practices and tools such as FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Improve runtime efficiency by profiling code and managing memory effectively.
• Partner with leading foundational model AI teams to strengthen model training and evaluation workflows.
• Work autonomously and in an asynchronous environment while consistently meeting deadlines and helping improve model quality.

What we are looking for

• Prior experience at leading US technology companies.
• A strong background handling large and complex Python codebases.
• Solid command of core Python concepts and language fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and contemporary Python development practices.

Interview process

• A 90-minute human-led interview centered on Python. No AI coding environment is allowed; LLMs and Stack Overflow may be used.

Compensation and application notes

• This is an hourly contractor position.
• Pay is set at $100 per hour.
• The application process is expected to take about 20 to 30 minutes and includes uploading a resume, completing an AI interview based on the resume, and submitting the form.
