Role overview
This contract recruiting position supports high-volume hiring for early-career security and technical jobs, including intern and entry-level openings. The work centers on sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates, while coordinating closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep the process moving and deliver a positive candidate experience.
This is a contract assignment delivered to Microsoft via an external staffing partner. If selected, you would be employed by AGS rather than Microsoft.
Key responsibilities
- Find and attract candidates for entry-level security and technical roles through multiple sourcing methods and channels.
- Review applicants and evaluate both technical capability and exposure to security-related work.
- Work alongside recruiters and hiring teams to understand hiring needs, target profiles, and priority pipelines.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interviews, support debrief discussions, and help advance candidates through each stage of the funnel.
- Develop and sustain talent pipelines for early-career security hiring.
- Keep recruiting systems up to date with accurate candidate information and activity logs.
- Support large-scale hiring efforts across several teams.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
- Hands-on experience identifying and screening candidates, with strong assessment capability.
- Background in high-volume recruiting environments.
- Experience recruiting for security-focused roles such as cybersecurity, cloud security, infrastructure security, or similar areas.
- Experience supporting university, internship, entry-level, or other early-career hiring pipelines.
- Ability to identify and connect with security talent across different sourcing channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus solid organization.
- Comfort working on multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Familiarity with recruiting tools or applicant tracking systems.
Additional details
The role is remote, has an expected duration of 5 months, and follows a weekly schedule of 40 hours. It is classified as non-exempt. The application deadline is to apply within 72 hours of the posting date to be considered.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range is $30.50 to $34.50 per hour. Benefits associated with this role include medical, dental, and vision coverage; hospital plans; a 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and Roth post-tax contribution options; life insurance; company-paid basic life and AD&D coverage plus optional life and AD&D for employees and dependents; company-paid short- and long-term disability; health and dependent care spending accounts; an employee assistance program; and paid time off/leave, including PTO, Allegis Group paid family leave, and parental leave.

Employment terms
This role is offered through AGS as a contractor supporting Microsoft. Employment is contingent on verification of identity and authorization to work in the United States. All hires must complete Form I-9 and provide the documentation required by law.
