Role Overview

The Student Mentor supports OffSec learners by responding through live chat and support email, while also grading exams according to the certification earned by the candidate. Key Duties

  • Assist and communicate with students through the OffSec Community Platform, live chat, and support email.

  • Contribute to initiatives such as curriculum planning, learning path design, new course evaluation, lab machine testing, and rollout of tools or systems.
  • Review and grade certification exams.
  • Test, configure, deploy, and resolve issues in OffSec lab systems and machines.
  • Develop and keep department documentation, guidelines, procedures, and process materials up to date.
  • Complete daily work and ongoing student support tasks in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Review accommodation requests and the supporting documents, approve where appropriate, and maintain accurate records of decisions.
  • Support cross-functional teams as required.
  • Work flexibly across shifts and adjust for different time zones when necessary.

Qualifications
